Standards

Editorial Policy

The principles that guide our journalism, analysis and editorial decisions.

The Founder Paper is committed to independent thinking, accurate reporting and responsible analysis. This policy explains how we select, prepare, publish and correct our work.

Editorial responsibility

All articles are published under The Founder Paper’s name, without individual bylines. The paper accepts collective responsibility for every article it publishes. Each piece must meet the same standards of accuracy, originality, clarity and editorial judgement, regardless of its subject or format.

Our editorial team is responsible for the integrity of published content, from initial research and evaluation to final publication. Every article must reflect the paper’s editorial principles and provide readers with a clear, considered perspective on the subject at hand.

Editorial independence

Editorial decisions are made independently. Advertisers, sponsors, commercial partners and the companies covered by the paper have no authority to approve, review or alter editorial content before publication.

Commercial relationships must remain separate from editorial judgement. Paid placements and sponsored material are clearly identified and are never presented as independent editorial coverage.

Accuracy and evidence

Factual claims must be supported by reliable, verifiable evidence. We assess the credibility of information, distinguish established facts from allegations and interpretation, and exercise care when dealing with uncertainty.

Quotations must preserve the speaker’s intended meaning and be accurately attributed. Statistics, research findings and claims about companies, markets or individuals must be represented in their proper context. Unverified information is never presented as established fact.

Our articles are written to offer readers a clear and reliable account of the subject under examination. Where information remains uncertain or cannot be independently confirmed, the article must reflect that limitation.

Analysis and opinion

Analysis examines the significance, implications and commercial context of developments in business, marketing, technology and leadership. Interpretations must be grounded in available evidence, with a clear distinction between factual information and editorial assessment.

Opinion pieces are labelled accordingly and represent the paper’s stated position. Arguments should be reasoned, relevant and supported by appropriate evidence. Editorial conclusions must reflect the strength of the information available.

Originality and editorial integrity

Every article must contribute a distinct perspective, argument or meaningful examination of its subject. We avoid recycled material, uncredited borrowing and repetitive coverage that adds little to the reader’s understanding.

Information obtained from other publications, research or public statements must be handled responsibly. Facts and ideas are evaluated in context, and the wording, structure and analysis of published work must remain original to The Founder Paper.

Conflicts of interest

Any financial, commercial or other interest that could reasonably affect the interpretation of an article must be disclosed. Editorial decisions must remain independent of personal relationships, business interests and external pressure.

Where a potential conflict arises, it is assessed before publication and addressed transparently.

Corrections and accountability

Accuracy remains a priority after publication. When a factual error is identified, we investigate it and make an appropriate correction as promptly as possible.

Significant corrections are recorded in the relevant article, accompanied by the date of the change. We aim to make corrections clear and proportionate to the error, preserving readers’ ability to understand what changed.

Readers can report potential errors or raise editorial concerns through our contact page.

Research and source verification

Editorial analysis may draw on company announcements, public records, market data, industry developments and other relevant material. Information is assessed according to its reliability, relevance and context.

The absence of a bibliography at the end of an article does not remove the obligation to verify factual claims. Editorial independence requires careful research, sound judgement and honest treatment of evidence.

Demonstration content

Development and testing environments may contain sample articles created to demonstrate the website’s functionality. Such material is clearly labelled “Demonstration Content” and must never be mistaken for published reporting or verified editorial work.

Our commitment

The Founder Paper seeks to earn readers’ trust through independent judgement, meaningful analysis and accountability for its published work. These standards apply across our coverage and guide the decisions we make before and after publication.
